Ruston Regional Airport opened in 1995 and is a public use airport in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. It is owned by the City of Ruston and the facility also serves the Louisiana Tech University's Department of Professional Aviation. The city of Ruston is a small city, and is also the parish seat of Lincoln Parish. Ruston is also the principal city of the Ruston Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Lincoln and Jackson parishes. For the year ending in April 2009, the airport had an average of 235 aircraft operations a day, totalling 86 000 for the year.
