Air Charter Service announces new leadership team for Group Charter division

Leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, has promoted the highly-experienced Alex Sadat-Shafai to Global Commercial Jets Director and Peter Philpott to Assistant Director.

Justin Bowman, Air Charter Service’s CEO, commented: “We are confident that Alex is the right person to oversee our Group Charter division on a global basis, showing exceptional leadership skills since he originally joined us more than 18 years ago in our London office’s Group Charter department. Over the following years he rose to Assistant Director of our team in London, before becoming Global Football Sales Director eight years ago and, most recently, he opened our successful office in Manchester.

“Alex will be moving back to London and will be ably assisted in his new role by Peter Philpott. Peter joined ACS more than 10 years ago and has been an integral part of the team here in London since then – he now becomes Assistant Global Commercial Jets Director. We truly believe that this team will help to take the division to the next level.”

Bowman continued: “The role that Alex is taking over has been held by Matt Purton for the past nine years, but he now becomes Director of the newly created Aviation Services division. This will offer both our existing and new client bases aircraft sales and transaction assistance, a wide range of consultancy services and help with special aviation projects.”
