The most popular private jets to charter in Brazil

Home to nearly 9,000 general aviation aircraft and over 700 private jets in 2022, Brazil is the world’s second-largest executive aviation market. Most of the country’s charter flights are domestic, with routes usually featuring major cities like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Porto Alegre, Curitiba and Florianópolis.

The relatively short distances between these destinations impact the aircraft our customers commonly request. Here’s our round-up of Brazil’s most popular private jets to charter.

Embraer Phenom 300

Embraer is a Brazilian-based aerospace company, so it’s no wonder their most successful aircraft is among the country’s most requested private jets to charter. Aside from being proud to fly on an aircraft designed in their home country, customers enjoy the Phenom 300’s unrivalled balance between cabin size and performance.

With an internal length of over 17 ft and a high ceiling, it has one of the most spacious cabin interiors and baggage holds of any light jet or super-light jet on the market. The Phenom 300 can carry up to eight passengers (seven is more common) and fly for up to four hours.

The Phenom 300’s global popularity was confirmed in February 2022, when the series was named the world’s bestselling light jet for the 10th consecutive year, according to numbers released by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association.

Beechcraft King Air 200

Agribusiness is big business in Brazil, and our São Paulo team gets numerous requests from people in the industry needing flexible flights around the country. Many live near airfields where only turboprops and smaller aircraft can land – enter the Beechcraft King Air 200.

Designed to fly six or seven people (with an extra seat in the enclosed lavatory if needed), the aircraft has room for four suitcases and carry-on luggage. A 1,580-mile maximum range allows for non-stop flights from Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo to capital city Brasilia.

Bombardier Learjet 45

First delivered in 1998, the Bombardier Learjet 45 is designed for fast and comfortable short- to mid-range flights, making it an ideal option for our private jet charter clients in Brazil.

The jet typically seats eight passengers and its cabin is longer than most others in its class. Its baggage hold is also comparatively large, so passengers can take plenty of luggage.

Embraer Phenom 100

Embraer’s entry into the very light jet class, the Phenom 100 is a more compact version of the Phenom 300 and offers a modern, cost-effective option for customers who want to fly in luxury between Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte or São Paulo to Porto Alegre.

The aircraft’s cabin is big enough for four or five seats and it can hold up to four large suitcases, four medium-sized suitcases and four items of hand luggage.

Pilatus PC-12

The Pilatus PC-12 is one of a handful of modern single-engine turboprops on the market. While the Swiss-designed jet’s spacious six- or eight-seat cabin is a big draw for our clients, its impressive range, versatility and economy are what give it the edge over competitors.

The aircraft is frequently requested for flights to Angra dos Reis and Paraty, two holiday destinations that are only accessible by small turboprops.
