Flying an Emerati minister in Latin America

We were asked to help fly an Emerati foreign minister from Brazil to Venezuela and back as part of a diplomatic tour of Latin America. Venezuela’s ongoing socio-economic and political crisis can make it difficult to operate charters there, so our expertise was needed to ensure the trip went ahead.

Our Solution

Route: Brasília > Maiquetía > São Paulo

Aircraft: Gulfstream G450

We quickly sourced two aircraft, an Embraer Legacy 600 and a Gulfstream G450, which were available to charter from an operator who could operate in Venezuela with no restrictions. The client considered both options before proceeding with the Gulfstream G450.

Our experienced team immediately began working alongside the operator to secure permits for the charter. Starting this often lengthy process before the contract was confirmed saved time and ensured there were no last-minute delays waiting for the flight to be approved.

The Finer Details

Specialist Catering: We arranged for Arabic food to be served on the outbound flight and even accommodated a last-minute request for pizza on the return leg.

Personalised Service: Our team in Brazil met with the client to discuss the charter beforehand, building their trust in our expertise and answering any queries they had.
