In July 2023, a travel agent asked us to help fly a passenger from Los Angeles to Mexico City before their U.S. visa expired. With no time to waste, we set about finding an urgent solution for the time-critical charter request.

Our efficient team quickly sourced a Learjet 45 business jet from a Mexican airline, which was the most cost-effective aircraft with last-minute availability for a non-stop charter flight.
Using a Mexican operator made it easier to secure landing permits and clear customs on arrival, but it also meant approval was needed for the aircraft to fly into the United States and collect the passenger. Our team worked around the clock to secure permission in time.
When heavy fog grounded flights leaving Los Angeles, we arranged to depart from Van Nuys instead. The flight then landed in Toluca, as Mexico City is closed to private jets.
